Researchers of Institute of Forestry and Park Gardening have established a contact with universities and research centers in Poland, Moldavia, Romania, Slovakia, Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Hungary and Czech Republic. Institute staff is responsible for organizing of international, nationwide and university scientific conferences. Collaboration between researchers of our institute and other universities/research centers of Western and Eastern Europe, North America is extended every year. To be more specific, our scientists are involved in mutual collaboration with employees of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University and Catholic University in Lublin (Poland), University of Life Sciences in Poznań (Poland), Forest Research Institute in Warsaw (Poland), Technical University in Zvolen (Slovakia), Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research (Germany), Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (Switzerland), universities in Vermont and Pennsylvania states (USA) and many others. Institute scientists take part in European program on establishment and research of Fagus sylvatica crops, which is coordinated by IUFRO. It is developed the wide cooperation with WSL in the frame of Ukrainian-Switzerland cooperation program. The scientists of Institute are widely attracting students to scientific/research works. Best students of Institute have possibilities to study on master level in Sweden, Germany and Spain, the teachers of Institute are conducting excursion to forest enterprises of Europe.
From 2015 the students of Institute have possibility to learning on bachelor and master programs at the University of Valliadolid (Spain), the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca (Romania), Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (Germany). There is foresee to spend practices on enterprises from this University. As for January 1, 2020, five students spent 1 semester on master level and 6 students on bachelor level (three of them studied 2 and more semesters in succession).
Besides the teachers from Institute have possibilities to training in Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development. In particular as for January 1, 2020, four teachers had multiple training with different terms in this University for program Erasmus+. Now they have two students from Eberswalde for production practice in Ukrainian forests.
